Book Fair

Save the Date!

The Book Fair is around the corner. Each year the PTA hosts a book sale in conjunction with Scholastic Book Fairs. Students and families are invited to browse and purchase books to take home or donate to the teachers. Proceeds from this event support our library. The book fair is open to the community, so invite your friends and neighbors, too! We will be asking for volunteers to staff the registers, manage book displays, help with monitoring, and help with book selections.

Please volunteer to help!

Family Fun Nights

Family Fun Nights (FFN) are about fun for the entire family while being introduced to new families and catching-up with old friends. Check the School Calendar for exact dates & details.

We realize it's sometimes hard to meet new families at school and so our program is designed to make those connections easier while having a fun experience.

The best way to meet new families is to consider volunteering to lead any one of our planned themed nights. In fact, join with 1 or more families to lead (we'll even help you find one) and you'll find yourself among many friends quickly!  To volunteer, please contact the Family Fun Night Chairs:

Previous FFN's have included:

  • Sweetheart Family Luau
  • Holiday Craft & Charity
  • Favorite Board Game Night
  • Mad Science
  • Bingo
  • The Amazing Cumberland Race
  • Have a Ball Night (Outdoor Soccer & Volleyball)
  • Movie Night
  • ....and more!

All kids must have a parent/guardian with them to attend.

First Day Coffee

You are invited to First Day Coffee event after dropping off your children on the first day of school!

Please consider lending a hand to help us pull off this annual event. This is a great opportunity to
meet & greet the principal, the new PTA board and program chairpeople.

International Night

International Night

This is truly one of Cumberland's most exciting Community Events where every family has an opportunity to share what is special about their family heritage. Share a culture you know well with the Cumberland families at International Night. Country ambassadors sponsor art, carfts, food samples, traditions, activities and may provide cultural perfomances. You can help lead, support or even share a booth as you represent a country.

2018 International Night Theme: Inventors and Inventions

The event will be held on May 4th, 2018, 5:00-8:00pm.

If you would like to represent your country or be part of the team representing your country, please fill out this form:
