Through increased awareness, advocacy and support, dads can help make a positive impact in the community no matter how much time they have available. DoC will provide various social opportunities for dads to meet other dads who already volunteer their time at school and want to share their experiences.
Research has shown the benefits of Dad involvement in school. Their children:
- Learn more
- Perform better in school
- Exhibit healthier behavior
- Have fewer discipline problems
- Are more likely to participate in extracurricular activities.
- Enjoy school more
