Science Fair

The Cumberland Science Fair is here!

All K–5 students are invited to explore their curiosity and showcase a hands-on project. This non-competitive event is a celebration of science, creativity, and problem-solving.

Dates:

  • Grades K–2: March 19 (6–7:30 pm, Parents & Caregivers) & March 20 (8:30–9 am, Classroom visits)
  • Grades 3–5: March 26 (6–7:30 pm, Parents & Caregivers) & March 27 (8:30–9 am, Classroom visits)

PTA supplies display boards. Project ideas and examples are available to help students get started.

Be on the lookout for your Student Guide at the end of January or the beginning of February for more information. Questions? sciencefair@cumberlandpta.org

Volunteers

We’d love your help! If you’d like to volunteer, there are plenty of opportunities from classroom visits to present the Science Fair in mid January to the actual day of the event in March. Just send an email to sciencefair@cumberlandpta.org to express your interest.

Parents and Caregivers

Some projects will be completed within the classroom setting. Your child’s teacher will let you know what their plans are in their regular correspondence to you. There will be a paper document that is sent home with your child but sometimes those get lost, so you can also get it here:
